From a young age, my parents instilled in me a great respect and admiration for the natural world. Growing up in North West Indiana, I spent many of my younger years exploring the soaring sand dunes, old-growth forests, and sprawling lakes and wetlands of the lakeshore region. However, my love for the outdoors really took shape during a number of trips out west.
As a teenager, I had always had cameras available, whether they be old point and shoots, disposables, or cell phones. I enjoyed snapping photos and documenting my finds, but never really dove into the art of photography. That all changed when I purchased my first camera near the end of my undergrad in 2020. From that point on I was hooked. Though my equipment has changed over the years, my desire to capture the beauty of stunning landscapes and observe creatures in their natural habitat has never wained.
My passion for both the outdoors and photography has only grown since graduating and moving to the inspiring Sonoran Desert. Outside of my full-time position as a landscape architect, I spend much of my time outdoors hiking, biking, or searching for desert critters.
I hope you enjoy my photos half as much as I enjoyed taking them. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding my work or travels.
